Story Bridge from Kangaroo Point

Kangaroo Point Natural History Project

The Kangaroo Point Natural History project is located in CT White and James Warner Parks along the Brisbane River. Many botanists, zoologists, ornithologists, naturalists and surveyors lived and worked in the area, and this project is about celebrating early Brisbane, its scientific researchers and local identities.

It celebrates the lives and work of these early researchers and scientists. Absorb the interpretive signage that focuses on each historical identity, and include reproductions of beautiful and intriguing illustrations – ranging from botanical, ornithological and entomological graphics to park designs and surveying maps.
