Logan 48-hour itinerary

Whether it's a treat for the family, a few romantic hours as a couple or a chance to explore on your own, City of Logan has plenty of options to create a memorable day out.

Day One

Start your weekend with a hands-on cooking class at Contemporary Cakes. Numbers are capped at just six participants, giving you the chance to really hone any skills and learn as much as possible from cake baker Jackie.

Father and son explore Berrinba Wetlands

After booking into the Gloria Hotel, located only a couple of minutes away from Contemporary Cakes, take the short drive to Berrinba Wetlands to explore the serene and picturesque wetlands along 7km of shared walking and bicycle tracks.

Refresh yourself back at your hotel room before enjoying dinner at Limelight Bistro & Bar followed by a show at the Logan Entertainment Centre, which books high-profile touring acts including musical theatre, plays, illusionists, world-class musicians and comedy acts. Retire for the night at your hotel, which is just a short 10-minute drive down the road.

Day Two

Monk walks towards Chung Tian Temple

Start your day with a mouth-watering breakfast at Christopher’s Fine Foods at Daisy Hill and drive the short distance to the stunning and tranquil Chung Tian Buddhist Temple for a meditation class or tour and tea ceremony.

Pick up some gourmet sandwiches from Cafe Mio at Springwood – a cafe loved by foodies – so you can enjoy a picnic lunch at Daisy Hill Conservation Park.  Eat alongside the wallabies, or walk off your lunch on one of five beautiful walking tracks in the lush 435ha reserve. You can also stop off and see a koala at the Daisy Hill Koala Centre for free.

Now it’s time to pick up the pace and channel your inner speed demon at Kingston Park Raceway on one of three go-kart racetracks. And if you’re feeling brave enough, challenge yourself to take a leap of faith at Bungy Australia.
