The Gabba

The Brisbane Cricket Ground, better known as “The Gabba”, is home to AFL and cricket. It is one of the most used stadiums in Brisbane and can draw crowds of up to 42,000. To ensure street parking is available to residents who live around the stadium, the Gabba Traffic Area has been created.

A two-hour parking limit applies on all unsigned streets Monday to Friday from 7am-7pm. On event days at the Gabba, a 15-minute limit applies on all unsigned roads from 7am-10pm. You can park between “P no limit” signs, which usually appear only on one side of the road.

If you live within the Gabba Traffic Area, you can apply for a parking permit. View a map of the Gabba Traffic Area.
