It's sardine tight in Ric’s Café and the only way to navigate the crowd is like a crab, sideways and discreet so as notto disturb the main event – live music being belted out on stage. Almost as if they are extras in this livemusical, so to speak, the crowd is as eclectic as the band itself. Picture 1950s rockabilly’s, all polka dotsand slick big hair, literally rubbing shoulders with mainstream music lovers inimpossibly tight skirts and heels so high as to invoke vertigo.
