The Queensland Museum Network holds exclusive license to host the World Science Festival in the Asia Pacific, reinforcing Australia’s position as a knowledge economy and igniting new and challenging discussions in and about Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths (STEM).

Brisbane Greeters are proud supporters of World Science Festival Brisbane 2017. In partnership with World Science Festival Brisbane team and the Brisbane City Council, Brisbane Greeters have developed a rather special ‘South Bank Green Heart’ Greeter Trail experience.
As the first day of the World Science Festival Brisbane 2017 coincides with World Water Day (22 March), the South Bank Green Heart Greeter Trail sees a particular focus on Brisbane’s water story. Event visitors are invited to learn more about the Brisbane River and the South Bank Parklands.
South Bank Parklands, one of Brisbane’s most prominent inner-city parks, utilises innovative urban water management practices while providing urban social amenity. Located on the southern banks of the Brisbane River, South Bank is Brisbane’s most highly visited parkland and cultural precinct with over 10 million visitors per year.

How can I book and join a World Science Festival 'South Bank Green Heart Greet'?
Online Bookings for World Science Festival South Bank Green Heart Greets are open now (2 weeks in advance of festival opening). Click here to book now and secure your spot.
There will be one greet offered every hour between 10am and 3pm on Saturday 25 March 2017. These greets will run up to 45 minutes – so please plan ahead to successfully incorporate this with your event visit. There is capacity for 10 visitors per greeter tour.
Alternatively, you can also visit the Brisbane Greeters at the Brisbane City Council Community Green Heart Display Stand (located near the Wheel of Brisbane at South Bank) at the festival site and book with us directly on the day.
