The Old Windsor Council Chambers, built from locally quarried porphyry in 1897, maintains displays of articles and equipment used in the locality, as well as a small library of local books and photography. The Society is housed in unique heritage listed stone local government building beside the Windsor Quarry Park and opposite the Windsor War Memorial Park.
This local gem is responsible for the district Anzac Day Service (held at 9:00am) each year, as well as an annual history walk on the last Sunday in July.
