For more than 5000 years, the people of Lebanon have enjoyed feasting on saj – a delicious style of flat bread. Saj is traditionally hand-rolled and cooked in a dome-shaped clay oven.
True to its heritage, Baba Ganouj - South Bank prepares saj in this time-honoured manner, before filling it with a selection of Lebanese flavours. Each saj is baked fresh-to-order and you can choose from toppings including tender lamb, tomato, onion, herbs and fragrant spices, or, for breakfast, try saj bread wrapped around freshly prepared bacon and eggs. Saj & Grill also prepares other traditional Lebanese fare, including falafel and tabouli.
