Discover the secrets of the universe at Sir Thomas Brisbane Planetarium.

The Sir Thomas Brisbane Planetarium is Queensland’s first planetarium, established in 1978 by Brisbane City Council. Located within Brisbane's Mount Coot-tha Botanic Gardens, the Planetarium is just a 15-minute drive from Brisbane’s central business district.

The Planetarium is home to the Cosmic Skydome, a 12.5m diameter projection dome. Enjoy a show in the Cosmic Skydome, take a tour of Brisbane's current night sky with one of the astronomers, or see fragments of asteroids and spacecraft models in the Display Zone.
