Indooroopilly Shopping Centre
Mogill Rd, Indooroopilly, Queensland
Indooroopilly Shopping Centre's latest contribution to the Brisbane shopping and leisure scene is setting the bar outstandingly high for suburban shopping centres everywhere. A $450 million renovation has resulted in a radical facelift of the centre, now featuring a flurry of touches associated with a high-end retail experience.
Sparkling marble floors and A-grade, luxurious store fit-outs are all par for the course at the fresh consumer mecca, featuring an exclusive selection of shopping opportunities. An abundance of illustrious international and Australian designers have opened their doors at the centre, cementing it as one of the state’s premier fashion destinations. An intricate chandelier in the heart of the new designer precinct on Level 2 marks the arrival of various world-class boutiques, including Australia’s first Armani Collezioni store and Hugo Boss. The exciting line-up of Australian fashion icons present includes sass & bide, Carla Zampatti, Zimmermann and Manning Cartell. Queensland’s first ever Ted Baker London store adds to the sensational list of styles available.
In addition to exciting designer fashion, the centre boasts a truly impressive selection of restaurants, owning the mantra that they are located ‘at’ the centre, rather than ‘in’. Offering the best of contemporary American cookery, Nantucket Kitchen and Bar combines tantalising meals with cosy décor. Inspired by memorable experiences of in-home hospitality, diners can expect fresh, local and largely organic dishes. Meanwhile, Luke Stringer’s Ole Fuego is the third addition to the Ole family and offers Spain’s celebrated, tapas- style cuisine. For a full list of culinary options in the centre, click here.
Transport is convenient and accessible, with the centre featuring various car parks highly visible from surrounding roads. Additionally, the centre’s Indooroopilly bus interchange is one of the major transport hubs servicing the western Brisbane region, and the Ipswich train station line is located just a five minute walk away on Station Rd. For local residents, the council service organises shared taxis for those who may have difficulty travelling to the centre.
