Sibling eatery Black Hide Steakhouse is just across the road, serving award-winning steak in an elevated setting.  

If Spanish tapas and entremeses are more your culinary style, stroll over to Moda, which is located inside one of the heritage-listed buildings in The Barracks. Combining inspired Iberian cuisine with boutique wines, Moda offers a unique Spanish and Catalan dining experience that spans tapas, brasa grill and bar bites.

A hit with the younger crowd, The Lord Alfred Hotel is a venue with versatility where you can grab a feed at Alfred's Bar on Caxton, The Quarterdeck, The Brasserie and The Verandah Bar aka the balcony bar upstairs. 

Also close to Suncorp Stadium, The Caxton Hotel is one of Brisbane’s oldest licensed premises, dating back to 1864. The Caxton boasts four state-of-the-art bars, including the renowned Cauldron Bar and award-winning Char Grill & Terrace Bar plus the Street Café. 

Casual bistros 

Craft beer bar Brewski has a top menu of casual eats, including vegan options, to complement the 600-plus bottles and cans of boutique beer on offer plus 12 boutique brews on tap. 

The Barracks precinct is home to exclusive specialty shops and multicultural restaurants, making it the perfect place to treat your taste buds or pick up something unique.
