Homemaker Centre – Wickham St

Separated into North and South buildings on opposite sides of Wickham St, The Valley’s Homemaker Centre has over 30 of Australia’s go-to furniture shops, including Freedom, Dare Gallery, Domayne and Bay Leather Republic. The Modern – 71 James St

Three words: Scandinavian design heaven. With over 120 years of manufacturing experience, The Modern brings stylish, richly-made Northern European furnishings to Brisbane. The Modern has also partnered with the Marimekko and stocks the iconic company’s latest designs. This is a must-stop. 

Arc + Family – 85 James St

Supplying hand-crafted pots to Bulimba households since 2014, the creators behind Arc + Family have decided to broaden their horizons and take over the corner store on James Street. The store will hold the vast collection of hand-crafted pots as well as plant stands, candles and homewares – you’ll be a loyal pot head in no time.
