The Binna Burra section of the Lamington National Park features more than 160 kilometres of walking tracks, and protects Antarctic Beech, wildflowers and rare wildlife such as the spotted-tailed quoll and Albert's lyrebird.
Lamington is part of the Gondwana Rainforests of Australia World Heritage Area , which includes the most extensive areas of subtropical rainforest in the world, most of the world's warm temperate rainforest and nearly all of the Antarctic beech cool temperate rainforest.
Explore the half-day walks such as Rainforest track or Bellbird circuit or tackle the longer day walks, such as the 21.4 kilometre famed Border Track with magnificent lookouts to Bellbird, Turtle Rock, Egg Rock and the Numinbah Valley; or the Caves Circuit over the Coomera Valley with Richmond birdwing butterflies, orchids and king parrots.
Binna Burra also boasts a privately-operated mountain retreat and associated activities such as guided tours through the Gondwana rainforest.
