First 5 Forever Baby Play at the Corner

Baby Play is a fun, free opportunity for you and your baby (aged 0-12 months) to play, talk and sing together while meeting other young families at The Corner. The sessions will focus on baby paced play, rhyme and shared story in a way that supports you as your baby’s most important educator – with plenty of opportunity to learn and grow together. Bookings are essential.

Fire and Ice Show

From supercool liquid nitrogen to fireworks, things are heating up in the Sciencentre with the Fire and Ice Science Theatre Show! Watch the show to see liquids and gases cool, freeze and condense – there’ll also be chemical reactions and hot, colourful flames.

Mind melting illusions, sensory sensations, playing with perception, and discovering the world inside your head are all part of the exhibition Perception Deception. Things to see and do include testing your balance while walking a path wearing special glasses; confuse your mind with the phantom hand illusion; feel your arms float upwards by themselves and more.
