Choo-choo! Get ready to ride the "Xpress Train" these school holidays! Steam your way around South Bank from 9 December until 21 January (see below for some non-operational dates).
The trackless train will wind its way from one end of South Bank to the other, picking up and dropping off passengers as it goes. A perfect family adventure!
The train commences from the main station located on Clem Jones Promenade, around the corner from the Wheel of Brisbane.
9-10 December 9:30am - 5:00pm
11-15 December 3:00pm - 9:00pm
16-17 December 9:30am - 5:00pm
18-19 December 3:00pm – 9:00pm
20-23 December 3:00pm – 7:00pm & 8:15pm – 9:00pm
24 December 9:30am – 5:00pm
2-21 January 9:30am – 5:00pm
$4 kids and $5 adults (children under the age of 10 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian)
A full list of guidelines for riding the train are available at each train stop.
The train will NOT operate from 7:00pm-8:15pm on firework display evenings from 20-23 December.
The train will NOT operate on Christmas Day (25 December), Boxing Day (26 December), New Year’s Eve (31 December) and New Year’s Day (1 January).
