1. Crops and bralettes

“Crops and bralettes will be popping up whether worn under a jacket, paired with a sheer maxi skirt or over a basic tee.”

Christie loves soft bralettes “because they are both practical and beautiful”.

“Take a risk and let your bralette be the focus of your look. This might mean over your top, under something sheer or peaking out where you may not expect it.

Keep the look classy and romantic with light shades and ruffles, lace or sheer detail.”

2. Jumpsuits

“Jumpsuits are without a doubt a statement style that really moves you into fashionable territory.

“Casual or dressy, a jumpsuit has more looks to it than you think.

“I chose this piece because of the unique daisy print and cutaway armholes that are designed for light layering.

“Spring layering is always fun and it creates a unexpected dimension to a no-nonsense look. The one-step outfit is also the perfect alternative to dresses and shorts.”

3. The backless dress

“Take the plunge and explore femininity with a little extra flesh this spring, keep your colours light and enhance a fresh girl-next-door appeal.”

“Criss-cross shoestring back tie detail catches my attention. It’s a seamless way to make a statement at any formal or casual occasion this spring.

"Strip the layers off and get back to the bare basics by shedding some light on our skin.”

Christie suggests Zimmermann's swim/summer collection in QueensPlaza for backless dresses and rompers.
