Celebrate the Queen's Baton Relay (QBR) as part of the Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth Games (GC2018) as it travels through Brisbane this Easter long weekend.
The QBR is a Commonwealth Games tradition that celebrates the Commonwealth's diversity, inspires community pride and excites people about the world-class festival of sports and culture to come.
Feel the Queen’s Baton Relay excitement when the celebrations kick-off across the city.
The celebration events have a range of activities on offer including live music and performances, giant games, community stalls and food trucks.
Don’t miss your chance to see the Baton and engage with the batonbearers as they move through Brisbane. Grab the picnic blanket and chairs and head over to a planned community celebration event this Good Friday and Easter Saturday.
Cheer on Giann Rooney with the Queen’s Baton at Shorncliffe’s Bluewater Festival or see Susie O’Neill run with the Queen’s Baton at the Sherwood Arboretum.
Roads will be closed in the area around the community celebration events, so get there early to see the Baton arrive.
