Easter holiday festivities

Easter high tea

Anyone for high tea? Brisbane is replete with Easter-themed high teas, including the Mad Hatter’s High Tea at Stamford Plaza Brisbane (2-18 April) with grinning Cheshire Cat cookies, Queen of Hearts jam tarts, Tick Tock pocket watch macarons and more; Treasury’s indulgent Easter High Tea (3-4 April) and Moët & Chandon High Tea (22 March to 30 April); and chocolate-filled high teas at Emporium Hotel South Bank (3-4 April) and W Brisbane (19 March to 18 April). Bookings are required, so don't be late to make a very important date!

You can also make like Monet and show off your artistic ability with a cocktail in hand and cheese platter at the ready at the Cork, Culinary & Colour event in the open-air Treasury Hotel Courtyard on Sunday 18 April.

To bask in Brisbane’s glorious Autumn afternoons with live music, seafood specials and a range of seltzers, spritzers and sangrias, head to Will & Flow. The new overwater bar on the north bank of the Brisbane River is serving up stunning views and sumptuous seafood at its Sundaze sessions every Sunday from 7 March to 25 April.

If you're up for a road trip, head to Flavours of Ipswich from 7-24 April to sample an array of specially curated menus from some of Ipswich’s favourite restaurants.
Indulge in epic burgers, delicious slow-cooked meats, succulent seafood and more.

With special themed holes like the Fairy Floss Fairway, Bunny’s Burrow and Easter Eggstravaganza, it’s sure to be fun for every bunny from 19 March to 18 April.

The ever-popular Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary will be hosting an Easter Scavenger Hunt every day over the Easter long weekend (2-5 April) – follow the clues to discover all of Lone Pine’s egg-laying animals, with a special Easter treat at the end!

For something a little different, bring the kids to Summer Land Camels in Harrisville – just 45 minutes west of Brisbane’s CBD – to feed camels, go for a camel ride and even enjoy a Camel Milk Gelato. Throughout the holidays, kids get 50 percent off their farm tour and picnic lunch with the code EASTER2021.

You can also fill up your esky while you're in the Scenic Rim! On April 3, Destination Scenic Rim invites you to meet the farmers, shop local and fill your esky with delicious local produce.
