Luxury Brisbane itinerary
From luxury hotels to designer shopping and exclusive restaurants, Brisbane has everything you need for a fabulously decadent break.
Day One

It wouldn’t be a day in Brisbane without a coffee (or two)! Wander through Brisbane City’s hidden laneways to discover glistening gems John Mills Himself on Charlotte St, Strauss on Elizabeth St, Eagle Lane’s The Coop Espresso and Brew in Burnett Lane off the Queen Street Mall. Venture off the beaten track, order your favourite cup and immerse yourself in each laneway’s unique character and charm while sipping on your favourite cup.
Lunch: Riverside at Alchemy
Treat yourself to Brisbane’s finest at Alchemy found on Eagle St. Indulge in a luxurious set multi-course French menu or if you’d prefer to go a la carte, the Chef creates specials daily including fresh seafood dishes and decadent desserts.
Afternoon: High end shopping & pampering

Head to Brisbane’s Queen Street Mall, the centre of fashion and retail in Queensland. It’s here you’ll find luxury fashion labels Louis Vuitton, Bulgari, Longchamp, Hermes, Ermenegildo Zegna, Paspaley, Burberry, Oroton, Tiffany & Co., Georg Jensen, Cartier, TAG Heuer & Chanel.
Indulge in an afternoon of pampering at Stephanie’s Spa Retreat housed within Sofitel Brisbane. Enjoy the signature Opal Rasul Temple treatment in the relaxing surrounds of scented candles, soothing music and the lingering scent of essential oils.
Evening: E’cco Bistro
Dine on modern Australian bistro-style dishes at e’cco. The bistro brought new life to a historic tea warehouse in a once un-fashionable district near the Story Bridge end of Brisbane City. Philip Johnson took over the site and refurbished to an unpretentious space to perfectly showcase for his distinctive cooking style.
Nightcap: Wine at Grape Therapy
Grape Therapy is certainly one of Brisbane City’s best-kept secrets. Grab a bottle to go from the wine shop, or settle into a chesterfield couch with a glass and cheese board to finish your night of exploring Brisbane City’s gourmet food and luxe lifestyle hot spots.
Day Two
Morning: Meandering through James Street

James St in Fortitude Valley is an ever-expanding lifestyle mecca where the locals head for morning coffee, lunch dates and a great collection of designer and eclectic boutiques complemented by on-trend flagship stores. If you’re a foodie, pop into Scrumptious Reads – stocked full of cook books, eclectic kitchenware and home wares, making it a truly scrumptious experience.
Relax indoors or dine outdoors in the sunshine surrounded by grass and trees. PJ McMillian serves up an ever-changing menu based around day-to-day availability of ingredients.
Libertine Parfumerie is an exquisite fragrance emporium, featuring the world’s finest perfumes, home fragrance, bath and body products and skin care. Offering exclusive fragrance masterclasses and brand education sessions, Libertine Parfumerie provides a truly extraordinary experience.
Dinner: Gerard’s Bistro
Treat yourself to Brisbane’s finest at Gerard's Bistro on James St. Head chef and co-owner Ben Williamson creates delicate courses designed to share with a drink and good company. The wagyu brisket is a must, but for a lighter option, owner Johnny Moubarak recommends the fried cauliflower, tahini, smoked almond and pomegranate salad and spicy Bekaa wings with kishk yoghurt.
For a post-dinner drink, Sixes and Sevens on James St is a beautifully transformed Queenslander open seven days a week for lunch, dinner or refreshing beverages – the ideal place for a tipple.
Day Three

Explore the South East Queensland countryside from the air with Floating Images Hot Air Balloon Flights. Enjoy breathtaking views over the Scenic Rim, Somerset and Ipswich regions against the backdrop of the Great Dividing Range, where natural surrounds and city heritage combine to offer a diverse and exciting setting. Available all year round. After your journey, return back to Spicers Hidden Vale for breakfast, a luxury homestead located on a working cattle property.
Or sleep in and take to the skies with Pterodactyl Helicopters on a scenic flight of the region. Captain Mike can take you on a custom winery tour by air, a pub crawl through the country or a scenic flight by sunset.
Afterwards, spoil yourself to a spa treatment at Spa Anise, just one hour away from Spicer’s Hidden Vale. Enjoy a massage, beauty or therapeutic treatment in relaxing natural surroundings – the perfect way to end a day of luxury.
Day Four
Escarpment Retreat & Day Spa

For the ultimate luxury getaway, the Escarpment Retreat and Day Spa is a breathtaking mountain rainforest sanctuary on Tamborine Mountain. Be welcomed with glasses of bubbly and relax in your villa featuring cedar floors, wood fireplace, private balcony and deep spa bath. In the morning, dine on a home-cooked breakfast overlooking the rainforest. Unwind in the award-winning day spa or put your feet up in the cinema.
