In 2021, the Brisbane icon underwent a major refurbishment, lovingly led by The Tivoli owners, brothers Steve and Dave Sleswick, alongside co-owner and prominent Brisbane businessman Steve Wilson. The Princess is the jewel in the crown of Woolloongabba’s emerging entertainment and lifestyle precinct, Clarence Corner, and presents a year-round program of music, theatre and cabaret acts.

Pop by for share-plate style bar bites and French wine in the sunny garden terrace or seasonal food with modern French flair in the intimate restaurant space.

06. Check the views from Eagle’s Nest

07. Chow down on hand-stretched pizza at Superfly Pizza

Superfly Pizza is a favourite haunt for Woolloongabba locals, serving a flavour-packed menu of hand-stretched pizzas, negronis and meatballs from a secluded laneway. Sample the popular classic pepperoni or tempt your tastebuds with something adventurous from the rotating specials menu, which has been known to include the likes of beef stroganoff pizza and smoked salmon, dill and ricotta.

Brisbane’s fastest-growing suburb is now home to a vibrant new centre where lifestyle, entertainment and community meet. South/City/SQ is the new beating heart of Woolloongabba, a mixed-use development where friends gather to share a meal, shop, hang out in the sun and enjoy the latest movie with drinks afterwards.
