It’s time to experience the largest multi-discipline cycling event in the number one cycling destination, Brisbane!
Whether you’re escaping to Brisbane for a little get away or you live and breathe cycling, the Brisbane Cycling Festival has something for everyone.
With an abundance of activity in the city, from 3 – 11 July 2021, you will not be left disappointed.
From major events such as the National Road Series and Tour De Brisbane, to the Festival Village including an Active Lifestyle Expo, live entertainment, Workshops and Activities, the atmosphere in Brisbane will be electric.
Friday 9 July
If your kids are eager to get started for the day, then the Kids Treasure Hunt at Rocks Riverside Park is the perfect first stop. Your kids will be able to jump on their bikes and ride around as they look for hidden treasures in the local park.
It’s then time to head over to the home of the Brisbane Cycling Festival, the Festival Village. Located at the Brisbane Showgrounds, the atmosphere will be buzzing as the Active Lifestyle Expo begins.
Check out the partners and local businesses who will be showcasing the latest and greatest cycling technology, products and trends as well as exhibitors sharing their knowledge and experience in health and wellbeing.
Friday afternoon drinks are an essential finish to the week so enjoy an afternoon relaxing at one of Brisbane’s Rooftop Bars.

Saturday 10 July
Start your Saturday morning with a cycle around the Brisbane Scenic Bike Paths as you watch the sunrise before stopping in at one of Brisbane's Best Coffee Shops for your morning coffee fix.
Head over to the Festival Village and watch as your kids improve their riding skills and learn about road safety in the Wheely Fun Obstacle Course. Guided by the experts, your kids will build their confidence to cycle in a traffic-free and safe environment.
If your kids are thrill seekers and love the Nitro Circus team, then be sure to check out the Nitro World Games Expression Session and Athletes Meet and Greet. Watch as the stars perform a number of stunts on BMX, FMX, Scooters and Skateboards.
After all that action, it’s time to treat yourself!
Check out The Pedal Power Street Style Hub, solely devoted to women offering a mix of female-specific cycling and lifestyle brands, arts and crafts, plants and jewellery, before grabbing a bite to eat from local food and beverage providers who are participating in Flavours of the Festival, featuring special deals and offers in and around Brisbane.

Sunday 11 July
Rise and Shine, it’s the final day of the Brisbane Cycling Festival and it is a big one!
Start the day checking out one of Brisbane’s Best Breakfast Spots. From a big breakfast or fairy floss pancakes to acai bowls and green smoothies you will be in food heaven before an epic day at the Tour De Brisbane.
The atmosphere in the CBD will be electric as over 7,500 cyclists complete on Brisbane’s city roads in the National Road Series, Gran Fondo 110km, Medio 75km, Piccolo 30km, and Free Trek Community Ride.
Once the race is over, it’s time to indulge in Brisbane's Best BBQ for some mouth-watering ribs or a Sunday essential, the classic pot and Parmi.
