Stretching from South Brisbane to West End, Fish Lane is a vibrant destination housing some of Brisbane's best restaurants, bars and cafes. Perfectly situated in the middle of Brisbane’s cultural hub near the Museum, Queensland Art Gallery and GOMA, Fish Lane Arts Precinct also offers its own array of amazing publicly accessible art.

With new venues and attractions like the jaw-dropping Town Square regularly opening, Fish Lane is continuing to grow, with Melbourne-based institution Lune Croissanterie joining the precinct in mid-2021.

Town Square

An urban oasis of greenery and exposed red brick, Town Square offers a sophisticated and peaceful escape for the busy streets it's surrounded by. Besides its expansive breezy courtyard and artworks, Town Square encompasses three amazing food venues: Southside (a restaurant serving up East-Asian cuisine), Kiki (Southside’s sibling which is both a bar and cafe), and Bar Brutus (sister to the ever-popular Julius Pizzeria).

Keep wandering down Fish Lane and you’ll eventually hit West End. Here celebrity chef Ben O’Donohue’s Billykart pulls a crowd morning and night (do try his Aussie Asian eggs). Next door is Billykart Bar, a small fun loving burger bar for good burgers, beer, wine and great times.

Those after a Brisbane favourite can head to Jo-Jo's Restaurant & BarBird’s Nest for Japanese beers and yakitori skewers, institution Three Monkey’s Coffee & Tea House for late-night bowls of chai and cake, Little Greek Taverna for a cheap and cheerful BYO meal, and Gunshop Café for a solid breakfast or lunch.
