The name says it all. Treat yourself to a clean breakfast, lunch or dinner with ready-to-go salads and sweets made from super fresh ingredients with no nasties added. They also make cakes with premium ingredients baked on site every morning check out the flavours of the Bundt and Streusel cakes and they are all gluten free.  

Our pick: Red cabbage & Savoy cabbage with paremsan, walnuts and dijon dressing and the Beetroot with fresh orange, feta and mint

Charlies Fruit Market

These guys started out of Charlie’s Fruit Market in Everton Park and are now preparing for world domination after expanding to nearly all corners of Brisbane. Their  superfood, clean and vegan treats can now be found in Whynnum West, Ashgrove, Clayfield, Clontarf, Everton Park, Greenslopes, Kenmore and Morningside. Can I get an amen?

Our pick: Chocolate nicecream with raw snickers slice

Fundies Café and Juice Bar | Paddington

The benefits of being half organic supermarket and half cafe are implied, but Fundies takes full advantage of the produce on hand and serves up everything from smoked salmon supreme to smooth spirulina smoothies with added superfood. It does breakfast best.

Kiss the Berry

Acai, not Asahi, is the main attraction here. As a breakfast, lunch or dessert alternative, Kiss the Berry blends up organic acai with a combination of fruits and superfoods that’ll satisfy any clean-eating appetite. Its seasonal menu boasts flavours such as panna cotta and rhubarb, and fig and salted caramel, so don’t think this doesn’t classify as a treat.

Miss Bliss Vegan Chai Pumpkin Waffles

Clean eating dreams come true in the kitchen at Miss Bliss Wholefoods. We rate the vegan chai pumpkin waffles but there are heaps of GFOs (gluten free options, not to be mistaken for GTFO) as well. It’s all delicious.

Our pick: Pulled jackfruit tacos with avocado, roasted corn, coriander and lime crema and spiced pumpkin seeds (VG + GF)

This is where you would go if you were only allowed one last meal. Everything and we mean everything is gluten free and, it all tastes absolutely amazing. From the Yuzu Mess comprised of souffle hotcakes with yuzu marmalade, black sesame meringue, frozen coconut and freeze dried mandarin and sherbet, to the Brisket Cheeseburger with 24 hr slow cooked brisket with umami ketchup and organic cheddar you will not leave feeling hungry. You cannot leave without trying one of Brisbane’s best sugar-free and gluten-free donuts. People travel far and wide to buy a box and with good reason.

With an emphasis on superfoods, Pineapple Express caters for the healthy crew who like their pasta low carb and their nachos organic. Also nailing smoothies, juices, acai bowls and clean treats, it’s the ultimate post-yoga sweet fix.

This is your stock-standard wholefoods cafe with a no-frills approach to delivering delicious in-season food for city-goers. Perfect for grabbing lunch or a smoothie on the go. GF and veg options available.

Sol Breads

Dine at Sol Natural Foods to be pleasantly surprised by simple food. Expect amazing tarts, pizzas, slices, cakes, muffins, pastries, sandwiches, seasonal salads and soups on its all-organic menu.

Our pick: Zucchini and corn fritters with avocado and tomato salsa 

Sourced Grocer | Teneriffe

Half local produce grocer, half raw eatery, Sourced Grocer has the goods for your fridge and your belly. Dine in the AM for coffee and sweet treats or drop in for lunch to enjoy a simple but flavoursome menu. There’s something about the quinoa salad that keeps us going back for more.   

Our pick: House on rye crumpets with whipped butter and fresh Bee One Third honeycomb 

Thr1ve | Brisbane City

Ridiculously delicious and supremely healthy food is up for grabs at Thr1ve in Post Office Square. It’s all burgers and bowls on the menu here, filled with protein and packed with nutrients to keep you feeling fabulous all day long. #lookfeelperform

Our pick: Heartbeet bowl, not only is it a great pun it tastes amazing.

VegeRama |Brisbane City | West End

Find a mixture of healthy curries, pizza, burgers and clean treats at VegeRama, The Taste of Good Health. The meals on offer vary store to store, with the Myer Centre outlet serving Indian dosa, Post Office Square with burgers and West End providing a more a la carte menu with gluten-free, nut-free and onion and garlic-free options. 

Our pick: Steamed bow buns or the raw zucchini tagliatelle. 

Wray’s Organic Café | Multiple Brisbane locations

It’s all about the treats! Raw tiramisu, paleo power muffins, spelt carrot and cranberry cakes and paleo brownies are just a taste of what’s on offer at Wray’s. It’s the ultimate mid-morning brunch spot for a treat with tea or a smoothie.

The breakfast food of champions is the acai bowl a super fruit that's super tasty and super good for your. These guys have all of the toppings and add ons you could possible want, so get creative at same time as leveling up your health.

Our pick: Moccha ya socks off, tropic thunder bowl and the salted caramel bowl. 

Just Earth | West End

Just Earth claims to have fresh, healthy and nutritious food that tastes amazing and we can categorically say, they deliver the goods. The vegan salted caramel pancakes are light and fluffy yet taste decadent and the vegan moussaka is rich in flavour and warming tot he soul. 

Our pick: Randy Rancho for a Mexican flare or the salted caramel pancakes because... salted caramel pancakes.
