Where to buy chocolate in Brisbane

Whether you create your own chocolate walking tour of Brisbane’s CBD (to work off the calories of course), or trek around Brisbane's suburbs and beyond in hunt of the best cocoa, chocolate is a worthy cause of celebration.

Filled chocolates & chocolate truffles

Couverture & Co is a small chocolate boutique in Red Hill feeding high-quality Belgian Callebaut chocolate to Brisbane’s westside. Experimenting with flavours, stop by to pick up a tasty treat such as the banoffee or chilli ganache-filled chocolates.

Better known for luxury brownies, Dello Mano in Teneriffe and Brisbane City also does a range of dark chocolate truffles. The same goes for Passiontree Velvet – the high tea cafe also sells hand-crafted chocolates and truffles (plus exquisite cakes and macarons). Take them away or dine in with a coffee!

While on the topic of brownies, I Heart Brownies do gift-box-worthy gluten and dairy free treats. But let's be honest, we're only going to gift them to ourselves. Find their store in Bowen Hills and a kiosk in Brisbane City.

If you're a southsider then 31 Degrees Custom Chocolates in Woolloongabba may be your closest option. We'd also suggest trying one of Amy's gooey brownies.

Those with an adventurous tongue can try Seatonfire’s chilli chocolate bars. Made in the Lockyer Valley, flavours and heat intensity range from mild chai chilli, to wild rosemary and sea salt, and liquorice and lime chilli chocolate.
