Shopping trail through Fortitude Valley
Home to some of Brisbane’s best boutique shopping, Fortitude Valley is a hive of local, independent stores filled with unique finds. Stop by the neighbourhood to pick up your new favourite thing.
Ann Street

Start at the top end of Ann St near the Brunswick St Mall and make your way north through the eclectic Fortitude Valley. On one side of the road you’ll find a string of boutiques including Brisbane labels House of Ezis, Bessette and Babushka Ballerina.

Within Bakery Lane lies a handful of small boutiques, cute cafes and hip bars. Pick up a colourful wardrobe at Destacarse Boutique, interesting and quirky art from Urban Gallery, new vinyl at Phase 4 and rent luxury bridal dresses from Bessette Bridal. Make sure you pick up a snack from Cakes & Shit, there is no better way to show you care than with a light-hearted insult cookie.

Neighbouring laneway Winn is tucked just off Ann St a little further down. Once you resist or give in to the tasty, simple burgers at Ben’s, hunt for your next IT piece at jewellery store Jess Blak and all things art and apparel at The Culprit Club. Pick up all things guitar at Tym, and get a haircut at Winnston Hair or Kiki Hair Salon while here.
The newest edition to Fortitude Valley's laneway scene sees a number of labels popping up to showcase their wares to valley shoppers. YP Threads and beachwear label LJC Designs call the laneway home, but we suggest stopping in to see what other boutiques are selling their designs.

Keep wandering down Ann St and you’ll meet James. This major shopping street features a mix of more than 130 specialty shops dotted along the tree-lined street ranging from a food hall and homewares, to local boutiques and national flagship stores.
Some of Brisbane’s favourite designers call the strip home, including Gail Sorronda, Frances Hendrie and Molten Store, alongside local and national boutique brands Calexico, Camargue, Zimmermann, Samantha Ogilvie and Camilla.
From here, cross the road to the Calile Hotel where you will find a beautiful gift shop called the Museum Of Small Things (M.O.S.T) and more amazing shopping options to peruse.

There is also a West Elm, Pottery Barn, Jardan Furniture, Maryon's shoes, Mecca Cosmetica, MAC store, Lululemon, Scanlan & Theodore, Sass & Bide, Aje, Gorman, Bailey Nelson, Optiko and much more.
By now you’ll be hungry, and there is no shortage of lunch, dinner or snack options from wood-fired pizza at Tinderbox to charcuterie at Gerard’s Bar, lunch at Chow House, Bucci, Harvey’s or King Arthur Cafe.

If you’ve still got the stamina, keep walking north on Ann St towards the Emporium precinct. This little oasis is home to great dining as well as a handful of stores, including Brisbane designer Tengdahl, Alla Moda fabrics, Biffi for fashion, Bloch dancewear, Eye Candy, Jack Mitchell homewares, Mckinney's Jewellers and Margot McKinney for breathtaking jewellery.
