The only resort on North Stradbroke Island with direct beach access, Anchorage Beachfront Island Resort is located on Home Beach, facing north to Cape Moreton and is well protected from prevailing winds with headlands at both ends, making it ideal for a leisurely stroll or swim.
Top floor units offer extensive ocean views. Some second floor units now also have views of the beach and ocean with the first floor units offering a relaxing beach setting through a thin bank of native trees. Anchorage is just a short walk to the hotel, bowls club and shops. Well equipped for conference groups, Anchorage offers conference room, adventure activities operator and in-house restaurant. Anchorage Beachfront Island Resort has a unique gift shop, art gallery, surf and boogie board hire.

- Room Description: Self-contained room with separate bedroom. All One Bedroom Units have a large outdoor balcony which faces north to the ocean. Most have extensive ocean views or view the surf rolling into the shore through a thin bank of trees. Units are equipped with smart televisions, full kitchen facilities including cooking pots/pans and all crockery, cutlery and glassware. One Bedroom Units come with separate bathroom. All One Bedroom Units have Queen beds. Some units have their own washing machine and dryer as well as dishwasher.

- Room Description: Self-contained, open plan room with all units having a large outdoor balcony facing north to the ocean. Most have extensive ocean views or view the surf rolling into the shore through a thin bank of trees. Units come with smart televisions, separate bathroom and spacious kitchenettes which includes hot plate, microwave, kettle, toaster and all crockery, cutlery and glassware. All Studio units have Queen beds.
- Room Name: Two Bedroom Unit
- Room Description: Fully self-contained units with all except one having extensive ocean views from very large outdoor balconies. Units are of considerable size and usually sleep four but can easily be made to sleep five. All have full kitchen and laundry facilities and all cooking wares are supplied as well as crockery, cutlery and glassware. All Two Bedroom Units have modern 32 inch or bigger smart televisions.
