North Stradbroke Island’s beautiful Brown Lake takes its name from the native tea trees that colour the water.

The site is of cultural significance to the Quandamooka people, and the nurturing effect of the tea trees that surround the lake is both restful and rejuvenating.

This hidden treasure and popular swimming spot has picnic and barbecue facilities and an easy access road just outside of Dunwich.
