Cross River Rail

The $5.4 billion Cross River Rail is a new 10.2 kilometre rail line from Dutton Park to Bowen Hills, which includes 5.9 kilometres of tunnel under the Brisbane River and CBD.

Easter long weekend train track closures

Major train track closures are taking place over the Easter long weekend.

Upcoming impacts to Roma Street Parkland:

Travel to and from Roma Street station will be impacted from the first service Friday 2 April (Good Friday) until the last service on Monday 5 April (Easter Monday).

Curved Bridge Renewal

Works will to renew the Curved Bridge (overlooking The Spectacle Garden) will take place from Monday 1 February until the end of February 2021.

Upcoming impacts to Roma Street Parkland:

The bridge will remain open at all times to pedestrians, however the path across the bridge will be narrowed with a small exclusion area in place. Signage will be in place indicating that the path is narrow for those wishing to cross.
