What dates is The Enchanted Garden taking place?
The Enchanted Garden is on from 4 December 2020 – 17 January 2021, but it will not run on Mondays and Tuesdays, with the exception of 21 and 22 December, when the event will take place. In addition, the event will not operate over the Christmas and New Year period, 24 – 26 December and 31 December. Please note you must have a pre-registered ticket to attend the event, there are no tickets available at the event.
What time does The Enchanted Garden open?
The Celebration Precinct opens 5pm daily, however, to experience The Enchanted Garden lighting trail a pre-registered ticket must be secured for a session time. There are four sessions every evening at 6.30pm, 7.15pm, 8.00pm and 8.45pm.
How do I pre-register to attend The Enchanted Garden?
Sessions for The Enchanted Garden from 4 - 27 December are fully booked. Tickets for 30 December and January sessions will be available to book from 9am, Friday 11 December via The Enchanted Garden web page under ‘Free Mandatory Pre-Registration’.
Can I change my registered session to The Enchanted Garden?
To change a registered session, patrons must cancel the original booking and register into a new preferred session. To cancel a booking please do so via your Eventbrite booking, more details below.
Do I need to cancel my booking if I can no longer attend The Enchanted Garden?
Yes, we kindly ask that all patrons cancel their booking as soon as possible if they can no longer attend. This is to allow ample time for tickets to be re-allocated. This can be done by scrolling down to the Order Summary section of your confirmation email - click the View and Manage order online link. This will take you to Eventbrite where you can create an account and update your ticket details or cancel your booking.
I missed out on a registration for The Enchanted Garden. Will there be tickets available at the gate?
No. There will be no tickets provided at The Enchanted Garden entry point. To attend The Enchanted Garden lighting trail a pre-registration must be made in advance.
Can I provide my details to register for every person in my group?
No, every patron must register separately. If a ticketholders name does not match their ticket, they will be asked to complete a form with their details prior to entering the event.
Can I exit and re-enter The Enchanted Garden lighting trail?
No. If a patron requests to leave the lighting trail before the display concludes, they will not be able to re-enter. This year there is only one entry point and two exit points, in adherence to COVID Safe event management.
Can I bring my own food to The Enchanted Garden?
Yes, patrons are welcome to bring their own food to The Enchanted Garden.
What food trucks will be at The Enchanted Garden?
The food trucks listed below will be vending at the event, entry to the food truck area is from 5pm for The Enchanted Garden ticket holders only.

Can food be purchased at The Enchanted Garden and what are the payment options?
Yes, there will be a number of trucks options available from 5pm daily on Celebration Lawn. Please note this is a cashless event, payment can be made by card only.
How long is The Enchanted Garden?
The Enchanted Garden takes approximately 25 minutes to complete. Although there are no steps throughout the pathways, we do advise you wear comfy shoes for gradual inclines/ declines, and in case you are required to move slowly during peak attendance periods.
Can I bring my dog to The Enchanted Garden?
Unfortunately, dogs are not permitted in The Enchanted Garden this year. This is to assist with the health and safety of patrons attending the event in terms of safe social distancing and pathway visibility.
What happens in the event of wet or adverse weather?
In the event of a storm or heavy rain occurring, The Enchanted Garden may be closed or opening may be delayed. In this instance please check the pinned post at the top of The Enchanted Garden Facebook event.
How do I get to The Enchanted Garden?
Roma Street Parkland is a 10 minute walk from the CBD, and conveniently surrounded by an abundance of public transport options, with the Roma Street train* and bus station located directly beside the Parkland (access is via lower ground level). There is limited car parking within Roma Street Parkland, so to avoid disappointment, it is strongly advised that public transport is utilised. The nearest public undercover car park is King George Square public car park, which is only a 10 minute walk from the Parkland. Please note that the coach zones on Parkland Boulevard and College Close Car Park are for drop-off and pick up only. No coach parking is permitted on site. *If you are travelling to The Enchanted Garden by train on 19, 20 or 27 December that there are railway disruptions - Park Road to Varsity Lakes is closed (buses provided). Please head to the TransLink journey planner.
How will I be notified if a person(s) with COVID-19 has attended The Enchanted Garden?
In the event it is discovered that a person(s) that has attended the event has COVID-19, patron contact details will be passed onto Queensland Health who will then notify attendees of the next steps.
Are food vendors required for the event?
All food vendor positions for The Enchanted Garden have been filled.
