Kisaragi-Sai Festival is BACK ON!
Due to the wet weather last weekend, the popular Japanese festival has now been rescheduled for Saturday, 3 March from 5-8.30pm on Celebration Lawn. You sold me at live music & tasty treats…
If this is you, then you are in for a treat, as we launch Brisbane’s newest free live music program, The Sound Society, on Sunday, 4 March. Kicking off in March, this new event series will take place on the first Sunday of every month from 9am-midday on Banyan Lawn. So BYO picnic rug and we will do the rest. There will be live jazz music from Shannon Marshall Trio and food trucks on site for the ultimate Sunday morning outing. Check out the full program here.
Exercise for a good cause
Enjoy a leisurely 5km walk through the Parkland on Sunday, 25 March for a good cause – raising money for Australia’s number one blood cancer, Lymphoma. The funds raised will go to care nurses who assist those diagnosed each year. There will also be food trucks, coffee, live entertainment and a chance to win raffle prizes. Do your good deed for the month and join in – plus with coffee and food waiting at the end, why wouldn’t you?! Check out more info here.
