What's on at Kids Collective - Roma Street Parkland
Kids Collective’s school holiday program returns to Roma Street Parkland with free activities for children aged 5-12 years in September 2021.
Bookings are required to attend Kids Collective Roma Street Parkland. Links to book tickets will be made available via this page for activities taking place 22 - 24 September and 29 September - 1 October 2021.
Workshops will be split into 30-45 minute sessions, taking place at 9:00am, 10:00am, 11:00am and 12:00pm.

As we continue to celebrate the 20th anniversary of Roma Street Parkland, kids can make very own celebration crown inspired by the natural environment within the Parkland with Bazil Grumble. This activity is suitable for kids aged 5-12.
This workshop by Physi Kids is packed with fun games where kids can race their team to see who can complete the course first, play a game of tag, kick giant soccer balls and see just how fast they can kick a football. This activity is suitable for kids aged 5-12.

In this fun and interactive Flipside Circus workshop, kids will learn some fun new hula hoop, juggling and skipping skills; creating opportunities for creative play and performance. This activity is suitable for kids aged 5-12.
Kids can get creative and craft their very own sunflower plant to take home using a range of colours, shapes and materials in a workshop by The Design Farm. This activity is suitable for kids aged 5-12.

Kids create their own nature mask or forest folk doll, inspired by the beautiful Parkland and enjoy a fun storytime activity with Flourish Children's Collective! This activity is suitable for kids aged 5-12.
This workshop is packed with loads of musical fun, plus The Rhythm Culture team will share real stories of their personal experience in African culture. This activity is suitable for kids aged 5-12.

Kids will learn how to use regular disposable coffee cups along with some basic supplies to make a fun and quirky grass-head to watch grow in this workshop by BrisStyle! This activity is suitable for kids aged 5-12.
Enthusiastic and energetic Ginger Sport coaches lead exciting and fun soccer activities for kids aged 5-12 years in an inflatable soccer field.

Chris Collin, author of Funkybooks, runs an interactive workshop featuring A Bug Called Doug as well as his brand new book Blue Whale Poo. Meet some fun sea creature puppets, sing and dance along to this interactive performance plus you will even have a chance to draw your favourite character from the book! This activity is suitable for kids aged 5-12.
Lucas Proudfoot's high-energy musical performances will have kids jumping, laughing and dancing in no time. A talented storyteller, Lucas plays guitar, didgeridoo and stomp box, and he’s even been a special guest of ABC Play School!

In Billy's Buddies workshops kids will learn the fundamentals of touch rugby league in a fun, safe and exciting environment. This activity is suitable for kids aged 5-12.
Kids will have the opportunity to create and take home their very own mini worm farm with Brian the Worm Man, made from active worm farm materials. This activity is suitable for all ages 5-12.
