What's on at Kids Collective - Roma Street Parkland
Kids Collective’s school holiday program returns to Roma Street Parkland with free activities for children aged 5-12 years in April 2022.
Bookings are required to attend Kids Collective Roma Street Parkland. Links to book tickets will be made available via this page for activities taking place 6 - 8 April and 12 - 14 April 2022.
Due to easing restrictions, from April 2022 Kids Collective is returning to drop-in classes with no capacity limit (please note, for craft workshops there is a set amount of kits so the event may sell out) to offer flexibility for parents and guardians. You must still pre-book a space, then you're welcome to drop in anywhere between 9am and 1pm.

Wednesday 6 April
Hop along to Roma Street Parkland and celebrate Easter in this unique Bazil Grumble creative arts experiences! Create a cute Easter wreath to take home and hang on your door so the Easter Bunny can find you!
Kiddies will be improving their fitness, strength, co-ordination, endurance, agility, balance, speed, power, spatial and sensory awareness - and they won't even know it! Participating in activities including skipping rope, hula hoops, spinning plates, jumping sack races and more.
Thursday 7 April
Kids will learn the coolest grooves, including some of the most popular TikTok trends, and test your stamina at Dance Pointe's Hip Hop and Acro workshop. No previous dance experience required.
Join The Design Farm to make a splendid Sun Catcher mobile from foliage & flowers and your very own drawings! Take it home and hang it up to show off your handy work.
Friday 8 April
Get those jazz hands ready for an absolutely razzle-dazzle time with Mad Dance House. No prior dance experience needed.
Based on Dannika Patterson and Megan Forward's picture book Scribbly Gum Secrets, this workshop explore how fact, fiction and art can come together in a picture book. This interactive workshop fosters creativity and ecological awareness for children and families in a gentle and joyful way.
Tuesday 12 April
Kids will drum their way through these school holidays with a drum workshop by The Rhythm Culture! A workshop packed with loads of musical fun, plus the team will share real stories of their personal experience in African culture.
Hop along to Roma Street Parkland and celebrate Easter in this unique Bazil Grumble creative arts experiences! Make your very own super cute bunny bonnet to bounce around in on Easter morning!
Wednesday 13 April
Hula Hoop Brisbane will have the kids moving and grooving these school holidays with all the tips and tricks to get the perfect technique to hula hoop! No previous experience required.
Let’s get crafty with a clay workshop! Kids learn how to sculpt then paint their very own rainbow with this hands-on workshop. Hang it up wherever it’ll make everyone smile.
Thursday 14 April
This activity will captivate your child while educating them about the traditions and culture of the South Pacific Islands. No dance experience required.
An immersive gardening experience with Little Green Thumbs where kids can get their hands into some dirt and plant their own seedlings to take home, using eco-friendly Biopots.
