3 Aug, 2020 - 25 Sep, 2020
Visit the Somerset Regional Art Gallery - The Condensery to experience 'On the Wall' by Jonathan Jones and Patricia Wheatstone along with 'Ink on Timber' by Robbie Greer.
On the Wall is a collection referencing the Australian landscape with will interest both local and interstate viewers.
We all see the world differently and while Patricia and Jonathan’s work is very different in styles, they both rely on intuitive interpretation rather than recreation of actuality. Landscape is not a static thing, it is forever being changed and recreated, scarred and healed by animate and inanimate forces, including human interventions.
Robbie Greer’s unique sketches “Ink on Timber” is an original design of sketches drawn on to timber of the Lockyer Valley and surrounding areas old and abandoned buildings, some are no longer standing others are still visible to those passing by. Some of these Unique sketches have also been printed in coffee table book in Back and Beyond.
