Flavoursome bites from eatSouthBank Street Stalls at Regional Flavours 2019
The largest free food event in Australia is back for its eleventh year (20- 21 July), highlighting Queensland’s vibrant food culture and proudly supporting Queensland farmers and small businesses, offering a weekend of delicious food, wine, beer and fun.
eatSouthBank favourites will be are returning to Little Stanley Street, to tempt you with a roundup of their most loved, flavoursome bites, utilising fresh seasonal Queensland produce. And what’s more- each mouth-watering appetizer will be served for no more than $8 a dish or less! - we don’t doubt you’ll be back to sample more.

Offering a taste of Turkey; festival goers can expect street food rich in flavour and authenticity. Think, creamy gozleme, chicken pide with roasted red pepper, mushroom and barambah organics cheese, completed with gooey, sweet rose- flavoured Turkish delight.
Expect fresh and modern Lebanese cuisine from Baba Ganouj, while staying true to their traditional cooking methods and ingredients. This stallholder uses an abundance of flavours; relish in herb infused falafel, flavoursome sauces and tender kofta wraps.
Barbossa Bar and Bottle Shop
This Caribbean inspired Bar & Kitchen in the heart of South Bank is well known for providing exotic cocktails as well as wines, beers and spirits from their boutique bottle shop. They also provide a number of tasty accompaniments, set to be plated up at Regional Flavours, such as rum glazed vegetable skewers and jerk chicken wings served with Gayndah lemons.
The Brewers Pantry
The Brewers Pantry, brought to you by The Charming Squire, will be dishing up a range of their signature buffalo wings, dripping in your choice of ranch or soy caramel dressing.
Offering a taste of France, South Banks pink- chic venue, will be offering a range of French inspired dishes at Regional Flavours, from crème brulee ft. eggs from Darling Downs as well as potato and Bangalow pork croquettes.
Gnocchi Gnocchi Brothers
The perfect winter dish to warm you up, enjoy the best fresh Italian gnocchi with flavours including wild mushrooms from Stanthorpe (Granite Belt), traditional bolognese with beef from Darling Downs and a vegetarian option featuring cherry tomatoes and red capsicum from the Sunshine Coast.
Hop and Pickle
Well known for providing guests with appetizing pub gastronomy, using modern ingredients and flavoursome combinations. Festival-goers will have the opportunity to indulge in their pick of loaded rustic chips with Caboolture cheese, gravy and green chilli or with creamy cheese and bacon.
Expect Asian street food with a contemporary twist, using locally sourced, fresh ingredients. Whet your appetite with Thai-style popcorn chicken, 18hr Darling Downs beef brisket red curry, finished off with 5-spiced North Queensland banana fritters and vanilla cream.
Mister Paganini is South Bank’s very own little slice of Italy, using only the freshest, carefully sourced, seasonal ingredients in line with traditional Italian values. Attendees can expect tomato & mozzarella arancini, crispy Mooloolaba calamari, completed with tiramisu cups.
Attendees will be offered a taste of Mexico that will have them coming back for ‘mucho’ more; think jalapeno poppers, nachos with Sunshine Coast tortilla chips, sour cream and salsa, as well as pulled pork nachos.
Next Door Bar and Kitchen
Serving up a mixture of culinary dishes, Next Door Bar and Kitchen will offer attendees emerald kangaroo skewers, paradise beach tuna bites and Inglewood chicken buffalo wings.
Expect quintessential Spanish dishes from this South Bank local, from vegetarian paella with peppers to free range chicken and handmade local chorizo, topped off with chocolatey loaded churros bites.
Papa Rossi, created for lovers of authentic and delicious Italian cuisine. Expect tasty bites, such as grilled marinated lamb and haloumi skewers, lemon and herb arancini balls with Warwick mushroom and mozzarella as well as flash fried salt and pepper Noosa calamari.
Sangria Bar is Stanley Streets global experience, offering a variety of Spanish dishes to suit all taste buds. They’ll be serving up all your quintessential Spanish favourites at Regional Flavours, from choripàn rolls to alitas de pollo, as well as mini fried doughnuts glazed with “Colony Rainforest” honey.
SUKI is a fusion of Hawaiian and Japanese cuisines. The un-tapped flavour combinations made possible by this dish are set to satisfy at Regional Flavours, with a variety of options to suit every taste bud - from salmon, katsu chicken and tempeh poke bowls.
Tai Tai combines regional produce and Chinese and South East Asian flavours, to offer a variety of delicious “puffs” – pastry filled with char siu pork from Rocky Creek; salted Brisbane Valley quail; and mixed vegetables from the Lockyer Valley with Woodford mushrooms.
The Charming Squire
The Charming Squire will offer up a range of flavoursome and hearty sliders, including pulled pork with Stanthorpe apple sauce, haloumi slider with rocket and cashew pesto and pulled beef with Mulgowie Farm corn & tomato salsa
The Manhattan Line
Inspired by the streets of New York, this bar embraces an American-style menu, festival-goers can expect all the classics- NYC hot dog, TJ hot dog and the Kansas hot dog.
Viet de Lites
Showcasing authentic Vietnamese cuisine, Viet de Lites will provide show-goers with an assortment of appetizing street eats, including their famous rice paper rolls, chicken curry, spicy beef and egg noodles as well as chicken fried rice.
Zeus Street Greek
Zeus Street Greek pride themselves on quality. sustainability and integrity when creating their flavoursome and wholesome dishes. They’ll be serving up a range of Mediterranean bites, from Aegean schnitzel with Queensland red cabbage, Apollo pork with white cabbage and of course, Spanakopita.
