Jazz on the Green
It doesn’t mean a thing if it ain't got that swing – the rhythmic sounds and toe-tapping beats of jazz are gracing the Parklands this winter at Jazz on the Green.

Settle in for a session of drinks, eats and seriously good tunes – Jazz on the Green is the first instalment of the new Live at South Bank music series. It will take place on Friday 29 July from 3pm-7:30pm and Saturday 30 July from 11am-7:30pm in partnership with Brisbane Jazz Club.
Featuring local and emerging artists as well as must-see headline acts Emma Pask, Franky Smart and Victor Martinez, this free event will give people the chance to sit back on the grassy lawns of Riverside Green (behind South Bank Piazza), complimented by the iconic Brisbane city views while relaxing to the soothing sounds of jazz with friends and family.

South Bank favourites Olé Restaurant and Vici Italian are serving warming winter dishes and drinks. Olé - prawn, chicken, calamari and chorizo paella and a vegetarian mushroom option for $12 per dish, plus, Patatas Bravas (potatoes with Brava sauce and aioli) for $10. Drinks that complement these dishes include Red Wine Sangria, Mulled Wine and Cider for $12 per cup. Bringing the Italian flavours Vici offers Truffle Arancini for $8, Polpette (beef meatballs in sugo w/ciabatta) for $12 and beef lasagne for $12. Drinks include Spiked Hot Chocolate and House Negroni for $12 per cup. Both stalls will be selling boxed water for $4.
