Thursday mornings from Thursday 16 July
Round up the littlies!- Kids Collective is returning to the sprawling green lawns of South Bank Parklands every Thursday, for children aged 0- 5 years. The free workshops will be split into 30- 45 minute sessions, taking place at 9:00am, 10:00am, 11:00am and 12:00pm. See a 270 000 crystal piece chandelier sparkling gracefully above QAG’s Watermall. The work by Ai Weiwei Boomerang is both dreamscape and a monument to consumption and display. Queensland Quarantine Quilt - ABC Building Foyer
10 July - 7 August
On display for one month in the ABC Building Foyer, the Queensland Quarantine Quilt will then be gifted to the State Library of Queensland. A collaboration between ABC Radio Brisbane and Queensland Spinners Weavers and Fibre Artists, it is comprised of individual squares made by ABC listeners reflecting stories of time spent in lock down.
The symposium, created by Women and Leadership Australia (WLA) to provide leadership development and immerse participants in an experience informed by the complexities and opportunities of being a female leader in Australia today.
Great music from great movies performed by the Queensland Symphony Orchestra conducted by Guy Noble. Including classic pieces from Lawrence of Arabia, E.t. and The Incredibles.

An exhibition surveying a decade of Mavis Ngallametta's intricate and animated paintings. Mavis Ngallametta was one of the most well-regarded senior community-based artists in Australia, an elder of the Putch clan and a cultural leader of the Wik and Kugu people of Aurukun.
