Franky Smart appearing at Jazz on the Green

Live at South Bank is the precinct’s new music program featuring events including laid-back winter jazz, a vinyl music listening party, a busking festival and much more. Kicking off with Jazz on the Green on 29 July, featuring must-see headline acts Emma Pask, Franky Smart and Victor Martinez head to the event page for more information.

Award winning artists, scientists, engineers, designers, students, and storytellers create physical and digital installations providing an immersive outdoor science, art and technology exhibit. A love story between two young people, First Nations boy Frank Doyle (Marcus Corowa) returns to Brisbane from the battlefields of WWII wanting to spend time with the girl next door Rose (Irena Lysiuk). He sets up his own ballroom, The Sunshine Club, where anyone and everyone can come together… to dance. Tickets available from the QPAC website.
