Whats on at The Sound Society South Bank Parklands

Ease into the weekend with scrumptious eats and free live music at The Sound Society, South Bank Parklands.

Fresh to the Brisbane scene, The Sound Society is a unique music experience – forget cramped venues and pushy crowds! Instead, be recharged and soul-soothed amid mother nature’s sun-dappled trees, sweeping grounds and gently-chirping birdlife. The Sound Society’s relaxed vibe and central location make it perfect for a solo outing, a chill date or a group gathering.

Food is also very welcome here – bring your own picnic or grab a bite to eat from one of the onsite food vendors. Tapi featuring Pig and Kraut will be serving German sausages and thirst-quenching iced teas. Tippler’s Tap is offering a menu including hot dogs, sandwiches and Tippler’s classics such as wings, fries, crumbed mushrooms and onion rings as well as a variety of soft drinks and delicious mocktails. 

The Sound Society is held at South Bank Parklands on the first Saturday of each month from 2-7pm at Rainforest Green – entry is free, check out the program below. If you’re more of the morning kind or you simply need a double tranquillity-hit, it’s also on at Roma Street Parkland for Sunday brunch.
