20 - 21 July | South Bank Parklands
Experience the Sunshine State on a plate at Regional Flavours presented by The Courier-Mail, Queensland’s premier free food and wine festival. Regional Flavours features free entertainment from celebrity chefs and cooks, live music, street food stalls, kids activities and a thriving producer market featuring more than 80 stalls, delicious food, beer and wine, and more.
29 June – 14 July | South Bank Parklands
Ride the Xpress Fun Train during the school holidays at South Bank. The trackless train will wind its way from one end of the Parklands to the other, a perfect family adventure!
5 - 7 July | Cultural Forecourt, South Bank Parklands
Australia's biggest French event returns to South Bank Parklands. Enjoy the finest selection of culinary delights, exceptional masterclasses, divine wines and champagnes as well as French entertainment, from classical music to DJ’s and everything French in between. Sit back and watch the sun set over the Brisbane river and cityscape while listening to the music of classical greats in this intimate concert series.
12 July – 17 August | Queensland Performing Arts Centre (QPAC)
With music by Andrew Lloyd Webber, based on the hit film, this hilarious new musical follows Dewey Finn, a failed, wannabe rock star who decides to earn a few extra bucks by posing as a substitute teacher at a prestigious prep school. There, he turns a class of straight-A students into a guitar-shredding, bass-slapping, mind-blowing rock band.
