Venture out to South Bank for fun, family-friendly events during the June – July 2022 school holidays.

30 June
Offering 0-5 year olds the chance to dance and party with their parents and carers. This is a daytime disco where you can follow along to simple dance moves. Jump on the disco train, do the swim with underwater animals, join in the monkey a go-go and shake your body to a fun party soundtrack. Very little ones can wiggle, roll or do the tummy time twist. Come dressed in your fun dancing gear. This is dance and movement for everyone! Free entry, pre-registration required via Eventbrite.

XPress Fun Train
25 June - 10 July
Starting at the front of South Bank Piazza, the Xpress Fun Train winds its way around a continuous loop of the Parklands, to the delight of young passengers. It is $5 per person to ride the trackless train which operates from 10am - 4pm daily. Please note train operation is weather dependent.

The Great and Grand Rumpus – Dragon and the Koi
Until 10 July
Explore wild and whacky large cardboard sculptures scaling up to 4.5 metres high brought to life with interactive digital projections. Entry to The Great and Grand Rumpus is free.

7 July
An engaging hands-on STEM project exploring moving parts and encouraging learning through play. Kids use real tools safely to build their own little wooden robot and bring it to life using vibrant craft materials and imaginary play. The activity is suitable for kids 2-6 years of age. Places are limited per session. Free entry, pre-registration required via Eventbrite.

A thrilling circus escapade with whimsical tales of creatures of the land and sea brought to you by Circa’s world-famous acrobats. Buy tickets via the QPAC website.

APT10 Kids features projects by artists from across the Asia Pacific region celebrating inclusion and diversity, and the importance of collaboration and community. APT10 Kids activities are free to participate in, head to the QAGOMA website for more details.
