WET Deck

W Brisbane

For views of South Bank and GOMA
Brisbane is well known for its gorgeous sunshine and relaxed attitude – something you can find even in the heart of the city at a five-star hotel. Pull up a bar stool on the huge riverside terrace and take in unparalleled views over to South Bank and the Gallery of Modern Art on the WET Deck. This resort-style oasis in the sky is perfect for afternoon rose or late-night cocktails with DJs and dancing.

Bar Otto

For views of the Story Bridge and Brisbane River
Celebrate the end of the week with a Prosecco and parade of Italian snacks. Unlike its two-hatted sibling restaurant OTTO, you don’t need a reservation or a special occasion to enjoy the bar (and the food comes from the same amazing kitchen). Located on the fourth floor opposite the main restaurant, Bar Otto is open from 3pm Thursday to Saturday. There’s a plate of arancini and Aperol spritz with your name on it.

Mr and Mrs G

Mr & Mrs G's

For views of the Story Bridge and Brisbane CBD
A glass bubble on the edge of Eagle Street Pier, this bright and airy riverside cocktail and tapas bar is the perfect spot to meet friends for a pre - or post- dinner drink. Split a cocktail jug and antipasto board, plus treat yourself to grilled tiger prawns and beef sliders. If you have a reservation at one of Eagle Street Pier’s many fine dining restaurants, grab the bill and get moving – or kick on here with more share plates, tapas and wine.

Lennons Pool Terrace and Bar

Lennons Pool Terrace & Bar, NEXT Hotel

Views of Queen Street Mall, historic Treasury Casino
Perched above Queen Street Mall, this poolside hotel bar has a tropical luxe vibe and big padded lounges to kick back in with a classic or signature cocktail. Even better, walk around the 20-metre infinity pool and sit right near the edge to enjoy skyline views and people watching in the mall below. All that’s missing is snacks? Lucky Lennons have a menu of pizza, tapas and salads.

For views of the Brisbane River, Kangaroo Point and Story Bridge
Since anywhere with a viewpoint tends to attract chic, high-end bars, this industrial beer garden and street food kitchen is a breath of fresh air. Two fitted out 40ft shipping containers sit at the centre of this open-air bar, with 16 beers on tap and a range of Australian wines. Pair your beverage with a plate from one of the five street food market stalls sitting at one end, and find a seat by the panoramic edge.

Madame Wu

Madame Wu Balcony

For views of the Brisbane River, Story Bridge
If your day calls for Moreton Bay bug filled dumplings and a magnum of vino, book space at the magnificent Madame Wu. This sprawling modern Asian bar and restaurant has a deck with panoramic views of the Brisbane River, Story Bridge, Kangaroo Point and Brisbane CBD skyline and a retractable roof. Asian flavours go beyond the food menu, with coconut water, lychee and chilli making it into cocktails too.

Bar Pacino

Bar Pacino Outdoor Terrace

Views of Story Bridge, Brisbane River and Kangaroo Point
Bar Pacino takes the food platter trend and adds an Italian twist and killer riverside views. Pop champagne and tuck into the best antipasto, cheese or charcuterie boards we’ve ever seen at this sophisticated yet relaxed bar. Hanging out over the river, it offers some of the best – if not the best – bridge views in the CBD.

Sixteen Antlers
