As the weather warms up, Brisbane’s fashion scene blooms with fashion festivals to celebrate the new spring/summer collections.
Spring in Brisbane brings us magical evenings of fashion under the stars, cocktail parties beneath lush jungle canopies, runway markets, creative workshops and opportunities to mingle with influencers and taste-makers.

See Brisbane’s oldest and grandest arcade florally transform into a spring jungle.
Brisbane Arcade’s Spring Flower Show officially launches on Thursday, 31 August with a runway show under the stars showcasing the latest spring collections.
A glamorous cocktail party follows the show and you can step inside the heritage arcade adorned with oversized jungle leaves, lush vibrant floral installations, a suspended jungle canopy, handcrafted jungle pots, a forgotten treasure chest and exotic creatures.
The runway launch is sold out but there is plenty of free standing room to see the fashion show in the Queen Street Mall.
The Spring Flower Show is held in Brisbane Arcade, 31 August to 6 September, and entry is free.
You'll find new collections from Brisbane Arcade’s esteemed designers and fashion retailers such as 2020 Optical, Darb Couture, Irma J Smith House of Fashion, Keri Craig Emporium, Pia du Pradal, Stephen Dibb Jewellery, Tengdahl Australia and Robert White Jewellers.
While all four runway shows at the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Festival (MBFF) sold out in record time, you can still get an A-list view of local, international and emerging designers.
The festival is live streaming every runway show on the MBFF Facebook page. Live stream watchers are invited inside the exclusive VIP Runway Lounge, where celebrities mingle with sponsors and fashion media pre-show. Then, see every single outfit as the models strut the runway.
Throw on your pyjama pants and watch the models from the comfort of your couch with a glass of wine in hand. Runway done right.

Brisbane Fashion Month goes beyond the catwalk, bringing together a mix of workshops, educational series, industry networking opportunities and fashion shows.
For the month of October, Wintergarden hosts Brisbane fashion events that showcase the latest spring/summer collections as well as creating opportunities to mingle with industry and get hands-on with creative workshops.
