If you’re keen to wander around Brisbane City after your meal, dogs can be walked on-leash on the streets, but are not allowed in the Queen Street Mall and City Botanic Gardens.

Buffalo Bar

With a shaded beer garden, the US-themed Buffalo Bar on Mary Street welcomes pups on a leash to hang with their owners in the outdoors. Book online to reserve your table and enjoy cold brews and American classic bites with water bowls on hand for your canine companion.

Cafe 63

Cafe 63 Ann Street is also pet-friendly with a large covered outdoor area in a convenient City location near Central Station. Make a booking via the website to dine in on popular items from the extensive all-day breakfast, lunch and dinner menus.

Fatcow Steak & Lobster

Tuck into a big slice of steak with your canine friend by your side at this Eagle Street Pier surf 'n' turf restaurant. Surely those puppy eyes will melt your heart and make your share some of the beef? Dogs are allowed at any outside tables, and best of al there is a 150-strong whiskey list.

The Croft House

The Croft House Town Kitchen & Bar on Charlotte Street is beloved by patrons and pups for its dog-friendly amenities. Take a seat at the shaded outdoor seating section where your dog will receive a water bowl and you can tuck into the likes of smashed avo and feta, homemade granola, or spinach and ricotta ravioli from the all-day breakfast and lunch menu.

Rico Bar & Dining

Have your pooch join you riverside at this Latin-inspired bar and restaurant. Dogs can join their owners under the mint-and-white umbrellas outside, where you can enjoy cocktails in the sunshine with freshly shucked oysters (six ways), tapas like lamb ribs and grilled prawns, or a big plates to share.

The Garden Room
