What’s on in Brisbane this Month
Get out and about to enjoy The City while spring is still here. As the festive season approaches, Brisbane’s event calendar is heating up along with the weather! Here is our list of upcoming things to see and do in our beautiful city.
Fitness should be easily accessible to everyone and thanks to The Medibank Feel Good Program, it is! The much-loved free fitness program will be running from 4 October to 4 December 2021 at South Bank Parklands and Queen Gardens in Brisbane City. You can get your body moving with a variety of fun classes from dance, yoga or Zumba. Check the class timetable here to find out when your favourite classes are on.
There are few activities that make us more excited than a long (bottomless) lunch! Can’t visit the Champagne region of France this year? Not to worry, Customs House is creating a first class riverside champagne garden for us to enjoy the iconic champagne house’s range of creations. A menu of vibrant seasonal nibbles will be available to pair with your champagne and wine selections. If you’re after a semi-private setting, you can also book one of their open-air floral domes adorned in roses. The Moet and Chandon Rose Garden will be open Fridays to Sundays - the perfect spot for elegant Friday drinks or a fancy Sunday session. There’s no need for a reservation, just head down to Customs House and sip the champagne!
Enjoy Naga Thai’s authentic regional Thai cuisine, bursting with vibrant flavours that are perfect for a spring lunch. Every Sunday Naga Thai is hosting Sanook Sundays - an indulgent long, boozy lunch at their gorgeous venue on Eagle Street Pier. Brisbane Fashion Month kicked off with our Shop BNE event in Queen Street Mall. If that wasn’t enough fashion for you, you’re in luck! This October brings Brisbane’s largest showcase of local designers and labels. As the premier festival for networking, supporting and developing the Queensland fashion industry, there’s a month long program of events for all fashion lovers. Learn about Brisbane’s rich history by taking a boat ride around the riverbend with the Museum of Brisbane. You will learn about everything from First Nation’s experiences around the river, convict history and early migrant history.
