4MBS Festival of Classics - Choral Spectacular

A concert to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the 4MBS Festival of Classics featuring both the Queensland Choir and the Brisbane Chorale combining in a spectacular program of great choral music with orchestra and organ in the Brisbane City Hall. Excerpts from Handel’s Messiah, the Vivaldi Gloria, the Requiems of Mozart and Verdi and Orff’s Carmina Burana plus Bach’s Jesu Joy of Man’s Desiring, Parry’s Jerusalem and opera choruses by Verdi, Wagner and Mascagni. The program will feature Eva Kong – soprano. The choirs will be accompanied by Corda Spiritus and the performance will be conducted by Emily Cox, Kevin Power and Chen Yang.
