Paulina Viroga

Friday, 12:00pm, 1:00pm and 2:00pm

Paulina Viroga (Uruguay/South America)
Paulina’s music is a raw mixture of acoustic latin-soul and folkloric grooves and songs from her city of Montevideo and homeland Uruguay in South America! Rich Melodies, swinging afro-latin rhythms, and powerful songbird vocals dance on a backdrop of hypnotic, acoustic, earthy, tropical-pop sounds.

Her acclaimed debut album ‘Almar’ contains 10 originals encompassing South American folk, latin soul, candombe (Uruguay’s trademark style), bossanova and a hint of tropical indie-pop sung in Spanish and Portuguese. Her newly released album number 2 - Renacer showcases some of the more brash, fuzzy, tropical pop and rock fllourishes to Paulina’s sound, reflecting her time in the sunburnt land of Australia
